To remember our high school years together, the Class of 1973 Reunion Committee has planned a great reunion celebration.

The hotel is across the street from South Coast Plaza Mall, and John Wayne Orange County Airport is within 5 miles for those of you coming into Southern California. All reunion events are within walking distance from the hotel.

Friday no host reception at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel at 3350 Avenue of the Arts, Costa Mesa

To get the Reunion off to an early start, please join the other attendees at a Friday September 29th Happy Hour from 5:30PM to 7PM.  This is a no-host event at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel. It will be at their outdoor venue with a lake view. If you plan to attend, please RSVP in an e mail to millikan73reunion@gmail.com by Sunday, Sept. 24, so that we can reserve sufficient space.  See you then!

The hotel will provide complementary parking validation to those attendees not staying at the hotel.  Those attending the Friday evening reception, please bring your parking ticket to the reception for validation.

Sunday October 1 Breakfast 

On Sunday, we would encourage the reunion dinner attendees to continue the conversations at coffee/breakfast between 9 and 10:30AM.  The location has been changed to The Outpost Restaurant which is 4/10ths of a mile from the Avenue of the Arts Hotel.  It will be a pay for what your order meal. It will be a chance to get caught up with those who have chosen to stay Saturday night at the Avenue of the Arts and there are a lot of people staying over!  Avenue of the Arts has a limitation on the number of people they can serve so we have decided to move the breakfast off site.

Big Red (Double Decker) Bus Tour around Long Beach Waterfront on Sunday 10/1/23

Don’t miss the BRB (Big Red Bus) around coastal Long Beach through Seaport Village, Naples, Belmont Shore and Queensway Bay on Sunday 10/1/23 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm!

Meetup with old friends plus visit a few local watering holes and a few more sites! Note: Space is limited to the first 50 people so hurry and register!

Relive the glory days and make new memories.  We will be having fun on and off the bus with snacks, adult beverages and water! The BRB has been specifically reserved for our group!

For those coming from out of town, there will be plenty of local reunion attendees that will be happy to give you a ride from the hotel to the pick up and drop off location in Long Beach.  The bus departs from The old Tilted Kilt restaurant (closed) located at 6575 East Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach.  If you need a ride from the hotel to the bus pick up, include that in your email confirming your attendance to millikan73reunion@gmail.com. 

Snacks and drinks are included, plus you can bring your own (please no glass). Note: If there is an overwhelming response to the first tour we can always add a second Bus Tour from 4 pm -7 pm.  We will only know that as we get closer to the day of the event based on how many people respond! So book early!

Because of payment requirements for the hotel, it is critically important for everyone to register as soon as possible.

We're also embarking on a 5-day cruise from Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas for October 3-8 (details below). From our recent survey responses, we already have 20 parties interested in going on the cruise.

We can’t wait to see YOU! Tell your friends and spread the word. Those who are Class of 73 adjacent are also warmly invited!  It will be the best Class of 1973 reunion ever!
